Navjeevan Kisan (PG) College is situated in Mawana rural area of Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh. College was established in 2003. The only objective behind the establishment of Navjeevan Kisan (PG) College was to ensure the availability of an advanced agriculture faculty and research center in rural areas. So that the rural students here do not have to migrate to study in agricultural science. At present, the school is progressing on the path of progress and students not only from the area but also from remote areas are coming to study in the school. The college affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut is one of the best agriculture faculty in western Uttar Pradesh.
The
total area available for the college campus and other
curricular and extra-curricular facilities is above 7
hectares. College is providing education at graduate and
post graduate level. And the school library and office
are fully computerized and the school campus is Wi-Fi
enabled. Experienced and highly qualified faculty
members and research scholars for teaching and research
work as per
UGC
and
CSIR norms are present in college. The college has
2(F) and 12(B) certificates issued by U.G.C., Delhi.
NAAC
accreditation of the school is under process.
All the necessary facilities have been established in
our school for quality education. Large playground,
large library, beautiful class rooms and laboratories
equipped with latest technology have been established in
the school premises. The school situated on the banks of
the Gang Canal is surrounded by a very picturesque
natural environment. The school also has a fully
technically equipped green house and plant nursery.
To provide modern affordable quality education in agriculture research and education to the students coming from the rural areas of western Uttar Pradesh, to provide opportunities to the students to realize their full potential so that they can become a part of India lead India on the path of becoming an agricultural superpower in the future.
